The Beezles (stories for kids)

There was a little beezle who ate too much. He ate breakfast then snacked. He ate lunch and then snacked.Of course he had his main meal in the evening and snacked before supper,when of course he snacked again.
He snacked all day long long until one day he found his little suits no longer fitted him!
Oh dear! oh dear! whatever shall I do?
His little toes were squeezed into the feet of his suit. The buttons wouldnt fasten no matter how hard he tried, and the seams were filled to bursting.
"Oh Zubby!" cried his friends "you have to stop eating so many snacks!"
and so it began.
The beeezles made a pact to help Zubby in his quest to stop snacking.

It was a lovely sunny morning on Honeycombe Hill. Most of the Beezles were still asleep and all that could be heard was the sweet song of the songbirds.
Bizzy woke and stretched her arms above her head.
"Oh what a beautiful day it is"!
"I'm going to have a lovely time in the garden with my friends"
Bizzy suddenly had a thought. Her friend Zubby had been snacking so much that none of his clothes fitted properly! Bizzy and Buzzy and possibly Bazzil were going to try and help Zubby to stop from eating so many snacks.
Bizzy washed her face, tied her hair in her favourite pink ribbons and put on a clean suit of pale blue and pink. She looked so pretty! She'd go and fetch Buzzy and together they'd call on Zubby and they'd all have breakfast together.

"Zubby! oh Zubby! time to get up! "
Zubby awoke to the sound of his friends calling.
"Im hungry" was his first thought.
"Wonder what I can have for breakfast?,I could eat a million honey sandwiches,and then another million too! I like honey! mmm mmm mmm"

Zubby rolled over and fell out of bed. THUD! He landed in a heap on the
floor.
"Hello Bizzy! Hello Buzzy!" "I'll be right there!"
Zubby pulled on his little lilac and purple suit.He pulled and pulled and pulled till the poppers popped off and the seams creaked and groaned.
"Oh no!" "My suit has ruined! and today is the first day Ive not to eat snacks! oh what a horrid day this is going to be!"

Zubby opened the door of his little hive and peeked out. His friends were sitting on a daffodil,swinging their legs and waiting for him to join them,
He didnt feel like playing today. Bizzy for sure would have him excersising and eating lettuce (without honey) and he just didnt feel like having no honey!!

"Hey Zubby! How are you this morning?" called Buzzy.
Buzzy was a cheeky little chap. He was also the fastest flier in the garden. He whizzed around doing errands and fetching whatever was need, all in the blink of an eye.

"Good morning Buzzy! Good morning Bizzy!" called Zubby.
"I'll be right there. Just trying to fasten my buttons" Zubby blushed and struggled with the poppers on his suit. They just wouldnt fasten!
As Zubby stepped out of his little hive, Bizzy smiled to herself.
"Zubby, today we are going to do some excersise before breakfast."
"Oh! do we have to?" cried Zubby.
"Well, I think it will do us all good. Come on! Lets play tag!"

The Beezles began to chase one another around the garden. They were all having so much fun! Zubby was exhausted and sat on a toadstool.
"Im tired and hungry!" he whimpered.
"Oh you did really well there Zubby" said Buzzy.
"Lets go have some breakfast"

Zubby rubbed his tummy and clapped his hands. Yum! Breakfast!
Off they went to Mrs Bee's little shop,where they sat in the sunshine eating fruity cereal and drinking fresh orange.
Zubby sat in dismay! Oh how he wanted some honey!

"Come on Zubby,eat up!" said Bizzy.

Mrs Bee looked at poor Zubby sitting looking so sad and forlorn.
"Here Zubby,let me help. I'll stitch your suit and fix the poppers till we can get you a new one"
Zubby jumped up and squeezed Mrs Bee so tight she thought she would burst!
"Oh thankyou Mrs Bee!" cried Zubby "thankyou so much. Now where's my honey sandwich?"

Buzzy and Bizzy laughed till their sides ached. Zubby was so funny and they loved him very very much. It didnt matter if Zubby had put on a little weight,he was still their friend and they loved him just as he was.

Zubby,Buzzy and Bizzy left Mrs Bee's shop together,merrily skipping and laughing along the way.

Today wasnt such a bad after all!!

My creation of fun loving pink and fluffy characters aimed at pre-schoolers!
Having a hard time getting this idea off the ground! Several production companies have looked and given positive feedback but to date no-one has offered me a contract! Waaaahhh!
The Beezles were created over two years ago and I have worked tirelessly towards making this a reality.
Cosgrove Hall, Red Kite and Aardmaan are just a few of the producers who have had a sneaky peek. Comments such as "a charming idea" are becoming a bit boring now!!
Buzzy wears a romper suit of lemon and lime. He's the fastest flier in the garden and whistles like no-one else!
Bizzy is very sweet. She likes to sing and wears a romper of pale pink and pale blue. She always has ribbons in her hair and cares alot about her friends.
Bazzil is soooo naughty! He hides Bizzy's ribbons and does things he knows he shouldnt do. He wears a romper of black and yellow.
Zubby is everyone's favourite. He flies backwards and has a scratchy head sort of demeanour,his suit is lilac and purple.

They all live happily together in a wonderful world of flowers where they frolick and laugh,loving and learning as they go through life with their friends.

My stories are just fab! Our local nursery school children loved the characters and the stories,just a pity that Im slow in the launching of this project!<
